We manufacturer Walnut Gunstock Blanks from English Walnut, Claro Walnut and Bastonge Walnut for Rifles and Shotguns. Our Walnut Gunstock Blanks are available in standard, fancy, extra fancy and premium or exhibition grades.
Milling massive Walnut logs into Slabs is the first step to producing a top quality Walnut Gunstock Blank. Not every log we mill goes into our Walnut Gunstock Blank production. We also mill Walnut and other Hardwoods into Slabs for custom furniture builders. Our Hardwood Slab inventory vary's from large to small - live edge or square edge and all of our Slabs are perfectly air and / or kiln dried. All Slabs are offered rough sawn but can be surfaced upon request.
In addition to our Walnut Gunstock Blanks and Hardwood Slabs we also produce highly figured Luthier Stock. Perfect matching back and side sets, tonewoods, billets and neck stocks all available rough, resawn or semi-finish sanded.
Lumber is available rough sawn from our bandmill with some of our highly figured hardwoods surfaced on 2 sides. Wide boards and planks from matching flitch's for consistent color and bookmatching are also available.
Burl and highly figured Turning Stock suitable for anything from a one of a kind bowl or pen set to exhibition grade duck call and pistol grips. Much of this highly figured material is a result of our high grade Walnut Gunstock Blank production.
All of our material is from earth friendly sources. Rescuing
amazing trees that would otherwise end up in landfills, burn piles, co generation plants or a fireplace is our mission.
Processing this material into the many high quality and highly figured hardwood products our customers expect has been our goal since 1994.
